Fifty years since The B-52s first formed in Athens, Georgia, the keys to the “Love Shack” are still jangling, despite farewell tours that have failed to say goodbye. The Grammy-nominated group joined forces earlier this year with DEVO for the Cosmic De-Evolution Tour, and just announced additional tour dates for fans looking for their New Wave fix.

Decades before being weird became easy, it took real courage. Both groups pulled this off with remarkable fluency, starting in the late ’70s, attaching to their quirks a brand of music that made normal feel boring. They had us in checkmate then, and they have us in checkmate now, because it’s practically impossible to stand still when The B-52s and DEVO come on. Without question a legacy act, their roadshow is unique in that it doesn’t feel the least bit dated because both bands stand out even today.

The first gig is scheduled to take place at The O2 in London on June 20, followed by a second at Manchester’s AO Arena on June 21. Warming up the stage on both nights will be Scottish punk legends The Rezillos as well as post-punk icon Lene Lovich, who was also the opener on the North American leg.

Before flying over to the UK, The B-52s are set to headline three shows at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas. The residency will take place on April 22, 24, and 25.

Likewise, DEVO has announced four new dates for 2026 in addition to their Coachella sets and the UK dates with The B-52s. Packaged as the Mutate, Don’t Stagnate Tour, the band will spend all of April performing throughout the U.S. before their overseas summer commitments.

“It’s hard for us to end,” Cindy Wilson of The B-52s said about the group’s decision to continue performing live. “We’re still having a good time, and it’s still wonderful to look into the audience. Seeing those happy faces and people grooving – that’ll keep you going, right there! You think we would be over it by now, but it’s a lot of fun.”
