After taking London’s West End by storm and claiming the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, Stranger Things: The First Shadow brings its supernatural thrills to Broadway.

The show transports audiences to 1959 Hawkins, Indiana, where we meet the Creel family as they seek a fresh start. Teenage son Henry hopes to escape his troubled past, finding initial success with new friendships and joining the school play. But when mysterious crimes begin plaguing the town, Henry faces a chilling question: could something within him be connected to the horrors unfolding around him?

The Broadway production features a 34-member cast (massive, but not quite as big as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child playing a few blocks away) and is directed by Stephen Daldry (three-time Tony Award winner) and Justin Martin.

Are monsters born or made? Broadway audiences will soon have the chance to decide for themselves when this dimension-bending theatrical experience arrives.
